These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations governing the provision of travel services by DBK Travels ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a trip with us, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payments:
- Due to the custom booking process and time assessed of researching a trip, a $25 non-refundable research deposit is required before receiving a quote. It will be credited towards the price of the quoted trip if booked within 72 hours.
- To confirm your reservation, a deposit or full payment may be required. The exact amount and payment schedule will be communicated to you during the booking process.
- Payments can be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods as specified. All payments must be made in the currency specified by us.
- Failure to make payments as required may result in the cancellation of your reservation without refund.
2. Cancellations and Refunds:
- Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of travel service booked, as well as the specific terms and conditions of our suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators).
- Any cancellation requests must be made in writing and will only be effective upon receipt and confirmation by us.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the terms of the cancellation policy and may be subject to cancellation fees and deductions for non-refundable expenses.
3. Travel Documents and Insurance:
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you possess all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and health certificates, as required by the destinations you intend to visit.
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.
- Denial of travel insurance is the sole responsibility of you, the traveler, and must be made in writing.
4. Changes and Amendments:
- In the event that significant changes are made to your itinerary, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible and provide suitable alternatives.
5. Responsibilities and Liability:
- We act as an intermediary between you and various travel service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators) and are not liable for any acts, omissions, or negligence of these third-party suppliers.
- We shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, political unrest, or natural disasters.
6. Code of Conduct:
- We expect all our customers to conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner at all times during their travels, adhering to the laws, customs, and cultural norms of the destinations visited.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States of America.
